Opscura has successfully led the CIQUAN project, Opscura is leading the CIQUAN project, a groundbreaking initiative to develop cutting-edge post-quantum cybersecurity solutions. This project, backed by the European Union and the Basque Government through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027, has been part of the HAZITEK research program.

Advancing Industrial Cybersecurity

The primary objective of CIQUAN has been to create a new generation of cybersecurity solutions that seamlessly integrate into industrial infrastructures, with a special focus on critical and essential sectors. These solutions are designed to provide resilience against post-quantum cyber threats, ensuring that industrial systems remain protected in the face of future technological challenges. To achieve this goal, Opscura has collaborated with the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Mondragon.

Breakthroughs in Post-Quantum Security

Thanks to the support of the Hazitek program, Opscura has made significant progress in:

  • Integrating PQC encryption into TLS and PKI protocols
  • Developing a hybrid Edge-Cloud security solution for industrial networks
  • Laying the groundwork for a future-proof cybersecurity infrastructure

These advancements mark a crucial step in strengthening industrial cybersecurity, reinforcing Opscura’s commitment to safeguarding critical infrastructures against emerging cyber threats.

The results of the CIQUAN project have laid the foundation for further advancements in this field, reinforcing Opscura’s commitment to innovation in industrial cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructures against emerging threats.
